The Movano laptop charger is safe for your equipment: it is equipped with a protection system against overvoltage, overheating, overcharging and overloading.
During production, the power supply is subjected to various tests, including:
- Temperature resistance test, in which we examine the influence of high and low temperatures on the protection systems and electrical parameters of the power supply,
- Electrical test: we check the correctness of the electrical connections between the individual components of the power adapter,
- Short-circuit and overvoltage test, during which we check the reaction of the power adaptor's protection systems to a simulated short-circuit or sudden voltage surge,
- final test, i.e. checking the output voltage level of the power adaptor by subjecting it to a constant load every hour.

- 5-20V: means the voltage of this power supply; the same must be specified on the laptop (INPUT) or on the original power supply (OUTPUT); the allowable tolerance is 0.5V,
- 4.8A, i.e. the current of this power adapter; on a laptop or original power adapter should be the same or less,
- USB-C: indicates the plug size of this power adapter and must have the same plug.
